Buy online, sell online!
Today ever more artists move their business online. And I can totally understand that! Really, how many people have time and opportunity to go for a gallery hunt in search of a perfect painting? I bet none of your friends have ever done that! But all of them know how to use Wi-Fi, right? One click – and you get to a website full of modern art paintings, canvas prints and other great stuff, another click – and the picture of your dream is in your pocket! What can be easier than that? Just take a look at the internet gallery of Leonid Afremov. I stumbled upon his website while googling and now I’m his devoted fan!
A few words about Mr. Afremov
I’ve always had trouble finding the right words to describe my impressions. After all, I’m an artist, not a writer. I deal with images better than with words. And if you want to get a more or less clear idea about Mr. Afremov’s works, you’d better visit his gallery by yourself. If you have a knack for modern art paintings, you’re sure to be stunned by bright colors, expressive brushwork and positive energy flowing from the canvas. But most importantly, all this is available at an incredibly cheap price!
Tons of profit
- Most abstract art paintings available on Leonid Afremov’s website cost significantly less than their gallery estimated price. Who needs to pay a sky-high commission for nothing?
- Alongside original works, you can find their cheaper replicas that look practically the same, but are sold at considerably lower prices.
- On top of the page, you can see the ‘Deal of the Day’ section that features discounted works selling in the range of $100 to $300. The section is regularly updated, so don’t forget to check it up once in a while to get the best price.
- There are also holiday discounts allowing you to save up even more! This is a great opportunity to make an incredible and cheap present for your nearest and dearest.
- All paintings are delivered free of charge across the U.S. and to select countries, so you won’t have to pay a dollar for shipping.
There are plenty of sites where you can buy a painting online. And Mr. Afremov is just one of many artists selling his works in the web. The choice is up to you! But if you are looking for modern art paintings, canvas prints and giclees that are both nice and cheap, you should certainly visit Leonid Afremov’s gallery!
The world changes every minute. Our minds become more open, more tolerant and less biased. And many of the things that used to be considered dangerous, immoral and even prohibited legally are now back in our life. You might wonder where I’m going with this. I’m not really good at sustaining an intrigue, so I’ll ask straight up: what is your attitude to marijuana? The reason this post was born is here: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/06/opinion/the-push-for-legal-marijuana-spreads.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&module=opinion-c-col-left-region®ion=opinion-c-col-left-region&WT.nav=opinion-c-col-left-region It appears that soon enough you’ll be able to enjoy your morning joint in Mexico without going to jail.
Ok, you caught me, I occasionally smoke weed myself. That’s why I’m totally sure it’s as healthy as drinking a couple of beers once in a while. If you approach most people with this question, they’ll bulge their eyes and start telling you creepy stories about drug addiction and destroyed lives. Wait a second, do you know anyone who sold their house because of marijuana? Or lost their job because of marijuana? Or died because of marijuana? Or even got arrested for public fight when they were stunned? No, you don’t, because neither of this happens.
It’s been scientifically proven that weed doesn’t cause any physical addiction (nor does it give you a hangover). You can get off it any moment without craving for more. And even if you choose to smoke every day, the important thing is that it doesn’t do any damage to your health or brain. A person high on weed is calm, relaxed and cheerful. They won’t pick a fight in a bar, or go around the neighborhood smashing windows. And please, don’t mention hallucinations or any of the horrible stuff you heard about heroine and meth addicts. Marijuana is a light drug that doesn’t cause any serious change in your mental state (except maybe making you a little scattered and giggly). Many people actually use it to unlock their right hemisphere and get inspiration for their job or hobbies. Is that any bad? Look at me, I’ve been smoking weed since 20 and I see it as a pleasant pastime, not a daily need. I can totally live without it for months. So next time you hear the no-to-marijuana talk, think how well you are really educated on this matter to judge.
My name is Andrew Chase, I’m 23 and full of hopes 🙂 Three years ago, I moved to New York to study art and since then I can’t imagine living in any other city. I can easily understand why there are so many artists here! So far, I can’t boast any extraordinary achievements, but I try hard and I guess my efforts will be rewarded one day. Too bad I have to work part-time to pay tuition. But in two years, I won’t have to do this anymore. I’ll be able to focus on my career as an artist and then, who knows, maybe you’ll see my works at Gladstone Gallery!
